We question these contacts about orders, starts, inventory, price point trends, pricing power, future expectations, construction costs and pertinent macro issues. Our survey captures approximately 15% of production single-family new home sales, encompassing virtually all of the top 75 markets as ranked by single-family permit activity, providing us with unique local insight in addition to broader national conclusions.
