Each month, we survey our network of residential real estate brokerage executives and agents to track and analyze trends in the existing home market and factors impactful to the brokerage industry. We question our contacts about homebuyer demand and sales activity, movements in inventory and home prices, and other macro and business-level dynamics. Our survey has grown substantially and captures a sample size equal to roughly 10% of the existing home market, providing significant quantitative and qualitative context to dynamics underpinning the resale market, with indicators captured in our survey proving highly predictive of higher-level macro housing data points.
