Land Demand Loses Some Steam, but Still at Healthy Levels

PUBLISHED: Wednesday, January 29, 2025

Our quarterly Land Development Survey canvasses a geographically-diverse sample of land brokers and developers with portfolios ranging in size from a few million to several billion dollars. In aggregate, we estimate our network represents nearly 1 million total lots. Our survey is a unique product that sheds light on quarterly land trends, including development activity, capital availability, and pricing and demand dynamics by type and quality. With quantitative and qualitative metro market level feedback, the perspectives are both local and national in nature.
